Questions people ask

Which designer brands do your guides cover?

Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Boucheron, Buccellati, Chaumet, Chopard, Dior, Fabergé, Hermès, Marco Bicego, Piaget, Pomellato, British houses such as Asprey, Boodles and Kutchinsky, and other makers including Graff, JAR and Mikimoto. If you have one, send photographs and we will tell you more, free.

How do I value a designer piece?

It comes down to the maker, the design, the materials and stones, the condition and the papers, together with current demand. Each guide shows what matters for its collection. Send photographs for a free value inspection within one working day.

How do I check my piece is genuine?

Start with the signature, serial number and metal marks, then the workmanship. Our authentication guide covers the checks for every house, and each collection guide adds its own. Send photographs and we will check them for you, free. Send a clear photograph and we will tell you honestly what we see.

Where do I sell designer jewellery?

To a buyer who checks the piece in person before paying. We buy designer jewellery directly: a free value inspection from photographs, then an appointment in Mayfair or at our Braintree office, post or free collection, paid the same day after inspection.
