Macri is Buccellati’s line of hand-engraved gold cuffs, bangles, rings and earrings, finished with the house’s fine line engraving so the gold looks woven. Woven-looking gold
Buccellati, founded in Milan in 1919, is known for hand-engraving gold so it resembles silk or linen. Macri uses two of those techniques, rigato (fine parallel lines) and segrinato (lines crossing for a soft sheen), on cuffs and rings with clean, rounded shapes. Every surface is finished by hand.

Is my Buccellati Macri genuine?
Look inside for the "Buccellati" signature, the 750 mark and the Italian maker’s star mark. The engraving should be fine, crisp and even all the way round, with any turquoise or diamonds set neatly. No single detail proves it. Send a photo of the signature and a close-up of the engraving, and we will look, free.
Can I sell Macri without the box?
Yes. A Macri cuff or ring without its box or certificate is still bought on what it is: we read the signature and marks, look closely at the engraving, and check any stones. A certificate supports the value, but its absence never stops a sale.
