Boucheron Quatre: A Collector Guide
Boucheron Quatre, launched in 2004, is a ring that stacks four of the house’s signature textures into one band, usually in mixed golds. It comes in several editions, from Classique to White, Black and diamond-set versions, as rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants. This guide shows how to recognise each, tell a genuine piece and judge its value.

Four textures in one band
Boucheron has been on the Place Vendôme in Paris since 1893. Quatre gathers its design vocabulary into one ring: a row of Clou de Paris pyramids, a ribbed Grosgrain, the twin rounded ribs of the Double Godron, and a row of diamonds or plain gold. Each texture is a Boucheron signature.

Which Quatre is yours?
- Classique. Yellow, white and rose gold with brown PVD or ceramic.
- White. White ceramic with gold.
- Black. Black ceramic or PVD with gold.
- Diamond versions. Rows set with diamonds, up to fully paved.
- Sizes. Small, medium and large bands, plus bracelets, earrings and pendants.

What is my Quatre worth?
Whether a Quatre piece holds its value comes down to the edition (Classique, White, Black or diamond), the size, the piece (ring, bracelet, earrings or pendant), its condition (scratched textures, chipped ceramic, resizing), and whether you have the box and certificate. No box or certificate? We still buy it. Two Quatre rings that look alike can be different editions. We never publish figures.

Questions people ask
Is my Quatre genuine?
Check the inside of the band for "Boucheron", an individual serial and 750, with the eagle’s head on French-made pieces. The four textures should be crisp, even and aligned all the way round, and any ceramic clean and evenly coloured. No single detail proves it. Send clear photographs and we will check them, free.
Can I sell a Quatre without the box or certificate?
Yes. Many genuine Quatre rings have lost their box or certificate, and we buy them all the same. We check the ring itself: the signature, serial, marks and the four textures. A certificate whose serial matches supports the value, but its absence never stops a sale.
How much is a Boucheron Quatre ring worth?
It depends on the edition, the size, any diamonds, the condition of the textures and ceramic, and whether you have the box and certificate, together with current demand. A small Classique and a large diamond Quatre are very different rings. We do not publish prices. Send photographs for a free value inspection.
Where can I sell Boucheron Quatre?
To a buyer who checks the band, textures and marks in person before paying. We buy Boucheron directly: a free value inspection from photographs, then an appointment in Mayfair or at our Braintree office, Special Delivery post or free collection. You are paid the same day after inspection, by bank transfer or in cash.
What are the four textures on a Quatre?
Clou de Paris, a fine pyramid grain; Grosgrain, a ribbed line like fabric; the Double Godron, twin rounded ribs; and a row of diamonds or plain gold. Each is a long-standing Boucheron motif. Quatre combines them in one band, launched in 2004.
Can a resized Quatre be sold?
Yes. A Quatre resized by Boucheron is fine; resizing elsewhere can disturb the textures where the band was cut. Resizing changes the value less than damage does. Tell us if you know its history, and send clear photographs of the inside and the rows.
