Is it safe to send gold by post?
Yes. FedEx and Royal Mail Special Delivery both track your parcel to our door, and it is signed for. Every parcel is covered by our own insurance up to £10,000 from the moment it leaves you until it reaches us, so you do not need to buy extra cover.
Does it cost anything to post gold to you?
No. The FedEx collection from your home is free. If you send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery instead, we refund the postage in full, whether or not you sell. Keep your receipt and send us the tracking number.
Can I send broken gold?
Yes. Broken chains, single earrings, bent rings and damaged pieces can all go in the same parcel. We look at every piece individually before we make an offer.
Should I write gold on the parcel?
No. Use plain packaging and never write gold, jewellery or a value on the outside.
When do I get paid?
We let you know as soon as your parcel arrives, inspect each item and send you our offer. Accept and you are paid the same day by bank transfer. There is no obligation.
What if I decline the offer?
We return everything to you at our cost, tracked and signed for. There is no fee and no obligation at any stage.
