Can I get a valuation before I post anything?
Yes. Send us a few photographs for a free valuation, with a reply within one working day, so you know what to expect before anything leaves your hands.
Is it safe to send antiques by post?
Yes. FedEx and Royal Mail Special Delivery both track your parcel to our door, and it is signed for. Every parcel is covered by our own insurance up to £10,000 from the moment it leaves you until it reaches us, so you do not need to buy extra cover.
Can I post larger antiques?
Send us photographs first. For larger pieces we arrange a free FedEx collection from your door, which suits items too big for the Post Office counter.
How should I pack antiques?
Wrap each item well, place it in a small, sturdy box and fill the gaps so nothing moves. Use plain packaging and do not write what is inside on the outside. Keep any boxes and papers inside the parcel.
When do I get paid?
We let you know as soon as your parcel arrives, inspect each item and send you our offer. Accept and you are paid the same day by bank transfer. There is no obligation.
What if I decline the offer?
We return everything to you at our cost, tracked and signed for. There is no fee and no obligation at any stage.
