Questions about selling jewellery
How do I sell my jewellery?
Send us a few photographs of each piece, with any hallmarks or signatures, for a free valuation. Then choose how we see it: an appointment in Mayfair or at our Braintree office, Royal Mail Special Delivery with the postage refunded, or a free FedEx collection from your home. You are paid the same day after inspection.
How quickly do I get paid?
The same day, after inspection, once you accept our offer. If you visit us, that happens during your visit; jewellery sent by post or collected by FedEx is inspected on arrival and paid for that day.
Do I need the box or certificate?
No. Most jewellery comes to us without its box or papers, and we buy it all the same. A certificate, receipt or original box supports a piece, but none of them is needed to sell.
What if I decide not to sell?
There is no obligation at any stage. If you decline our offer, we return your jewellery at our cost, insured.
Is it safe to post my jewellery to you?
Yes. Every parcel is insured up to £10,000 on its way to us. Use our free FedEx collection or Royal Mail Special Delivery, which are both tracked and signed for, and keep your tracking number until we confirm the parcel has arrived.
Where can I sell jewellery near me?
At our Mayfair office in London or our Braintree office in Essex, both by appointment. Anywhere else in the UK, we collect free from your home with FedEx, insured up to £10,000 per parcel.
