Silver Krugerrand dated 2018, a one ounce bullion coin in 0.999 fine silver carrying the springbok and Paul Kruger of the original gold Krugerrand.
The gold Krugerrand was introduced in 1967 as the first modern bullion coin and became the model every mint followed. Silver was added to the series only in 2017, for the fiftieth anniversary, and 2018 is the first year of regular annual issue.
The reverse carries Coert Steynberg's springbok with the weight and fineness. The obverse carries the bust of Paul Kruger, president of the South African Republic, with the country named in both Afrikaans and English.
