Morgan silver dollar dated 1900 struck at New Orleans, a United States one dollar coin in 0.900 fine silver carrying the O mintmark.
George T. Morgan came to the United States Mint from the Royal Mint in London and cut the dollar that carries his name, struck from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921. The New Orleans issues of 1900 came from a branch mint that closed for good in 1909.
The obverse carries Liberty in a Phrygian cap wreathed with cotton and wheat. The reverse sets an eagle with outstretched wings above a wreath, with the O mintmark below the bow, shown in the close up image.
