The New Orleans Mint worked until 1909, and its dollars of 1900 came near the end of that run. The O mintmark sits below the wreath on the reverse, shown in the close up image.
The obverse carries Liberty in a Phrygian cap wreathed with cotton and wheat, designed by George T. Morgan, who came to the United States Mint from the Royal Mint in London. The reverse sets an eagle with outstretched wings above a wreath.
