Morgan silver dollar dated 1889, a United States one dollar coin in 0.900 fine silver struck at Philadelphia.

1889 saw the largest Morgan dollar coinage of any year at Philadelphia, over twenty one million pieces. The blank space below the wreath on the reverse marks the parent mint, which used no mintmark.

The obverse carries Liberty in a Phrygian cap wreathed with cotton and wheat, designed by George T. Morgan, who came to the United States Mint from the Royal Mint in London. The reverse sets an eagle with outstretched wings above a wreath.
