A generous vintage flower brooch in 18KT yellow and white gold, the blooms massed from clusters of vivid natural rubies above sweeping ribbon leaves pavé-set with diamonds, a half-carat brilliant held at the heart of the spray.
The two-colour construction is what makes it work: warm yellow gold claws cradle each ruby so the red reads deep and saturated, while the foliage is set in white metal to keep the diamonds crisp and icy. The ribbons curl in three dimensions rather than lying flat, giving the whole spray real movement.
