The square case is framed in diamonds, with stepped shoulders set in millegrain edged platinum that lead into a bracelet of diamond set links. The silvered dial is signed ARDATH 17 JEWELS, with gilt Arabic numerals and gilt hands.
Ardath was founded in Geneva in the mid 1930s by Edmond Dreyfus. The watch winds by hand through the crown at the side of the case.
