The Baignoire
The Baignoire is Cartier's oval watch, its curved case named after the French word for bathtub. The ref. 2369 Baignoire Mini has an 18 mm white gold case and a quartz movement.
Early Cartier wristwatches
Cartier was making wristwatches in Paris before the First World War, often in platinum with diamond-set cases. These early pieces are recorded in the literature on the house, and the hexagonal watch in stock is published in Nadelhoffer's book on Cartier.
Cartier Paris, London and New York
Dials and cases signed Cartier Paris, Cartier London or Cartier New York come from the three branches of the house. The signature is stated in each listing.
