Ben Rosenfeld vintage angel skin coral, turquoises, and diamonds cluster ring.

Fully hallmarked.

A brilliant jeweler, Ben Rosenfeld was designed from the 1950s to the 1970s. In the immediate post-war years, gemstones were prohibitively expensive, so gold became fashionable. Ben was one of the few Hatton Garden jewelers to attain a worldwide reputation and clientèle.

His set of contacts was new to Variety Club and its value manifested itself in many ways, not least the many thousands of pounds worth of advertising Ben sold in various events brochures. Today, one of his pieces from the 1960s is in the collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum. He was the “founding father” of the Variety Club Sandown Race Day which went on to raise funds on a grand scale for many years.
