Rolex Publishes Its Servicing Prices, Including for the UK, in What WatchPro Calls a First
30 October 2026 · Mozeris Fine Antiques

The new page on Rolex's website sets out what a complete service includes and what it costs, from modern models to the rarest vintage references.

In short

Rolex now lists prices for a complete service on its UK website, from £550 for simpler modern models to £7,350 for vintage chronograph and moonphase references. WatchPro reported on 29 October 2026 that this is the first time the brand has published a public price list for servicing.

What Rolex has published

Rolex's servicing prices page sorts watches into three groups: modern models with six-digit references, classic models with five digits, and vintage models with four. Prices rise with age and complexity, from £550 at the bottom of the modern group to £7,350 at the top of the vintage group. WatchPro reported that the prices include VAT and that this is the first time Rolex has given a public service price list. Rolex's page carries no publication date, so we rely on WatchPro for the timing.

What is included, and what is not

For modern and classic watches, Rolex says the price covers labour on the movement, waterproofness testing and listed parts such as screws, springs, wheels, gaskets and lubricants. Other spare parts are charged separately, and so are repairs to the case and bracelet. Polishing is optional and costs extra. For vintage models, work on the case, bracelet, dial and hands is not included, and prices are given by estimate, with an analysis fee of £230 if the owner declines the service.

The vintage route

Rolex says only its Restoration Atelier in Geneva may work on certain vintage references, including chronographs and early Submariner, GMT-Master and Explorer models. The page also says that, depending on a watch's condition, Rolex can refuse a complete overhaul and offer an estimate for restoration instead.

What this means if you own a Rolex

A service price is not a value, and it does not tell you what a watch would sell for. If you are thinking of selling, a few points are worth knowing. Service papers help show a watch's history, so keep them with the box and any original paperwork. On vintage watches especially, original case lines, dial and hands count for a lot, and polishing cannot be undone, so it is best to ask before any work is done.
