Kutchinsky 18KT gold and diamond earrings, each a chevron of ribbed polished gold strands centred on a vertical line of round brilliant diamonds, in the original Kutchinsky box.
Five gold strands sweep out on each side of the diamond line like a pair of wings, so the polished ribs catch the light around the stones. Kutchinsky, the London house founded by the Kutchinsky family, was known for bold yellow gold jewellery of exactly this kind in the 1960s and 1970s.
Each earring is signed Kutchinsky on the clip and carries the British 18 mark, used before 1975. They fasten with posts and hinged clips.
