Edwardian Natural Pearl, Ruby, Emerald and Diamond Baroness Issaverdens Brooch
An Edwardian gold and silver brooch of openwork scrolling design, centred with a natural pearl and set with rubies, emeralds and old-cut diamonds. The jewel is presented in a fitted leather case monogrammed D.I.
Provenance: Baroness Dolores Issaverdens, nee Torres Caicedo, born Argentina 1881; married Baron Eugene Issaverdens in Paris in 1900; lived in France and died at Port-Marly in 1967. Thence by family descent.
