Cartier London Art Deco cufflinks in 18KT gold, four oval panels with engine turned centres bordered in deep violet blue enamel, each set with an old cut diamond.
The centres are engine turned in fine concentric ovals that ripple out from the collet set diamond to the enamel border. The two panels of each link are joined by gold chain, the double cufflink form worn with formal dress in the 1920s and 1930s.
Cartier opened its London house in 1902 and made much of its finest Art Deco work there. Each link is engraved Cartier London on the back, and the pair come in a red Cartier box.
