Burmese Pigeon Blood Ruby and Diamond Earrings, 2.08 ct, Two GRS Reports

Burmese pigeon blood ruby and diamond earrings, a matched pair of no heat rubies, each graded Vivid Pigeon Blood by GRS, with two GRS reports.

Each oval cushion ruby is held in four yellow gold claws at the centre of an elongated hexagonal frame. Rows of round brilliant cut diamonds run above and below the ruby in milgrain edged settings, and a tapered baguette diamond sits at each side, giving the earrings the clean geometry of the Art Deco period.

Pigeon blood is the term used by GRS for the most saturated, vivid red in ruby, and Burma is the source most associated with it. Both stones are unheated. The earrings fasten with posts and hinged omega clips.
