Passo Doppio, Italian for double step, describes the stepped gold chevrons that frame the pearl, a design Bulgari also used for its pearl bracelets and earrings. The polished gold dome makes the pearl the high point of the ring, and the pearl shows a soft rosé overtone and good lustre.
The ring is signed BVLGARI with the S.B sponsor's mark, and carries British import marks for London, 1998. It comes in its original Bulgari box.
