A Marco Bicego ring from the Jaipur collection, the shank splitting into two crossing wires that carry a purple amethyst and a green tourmaline side by side in full rub-over collets.
The whole surface is worked with the fine hand-engraved parallel lines, known as bulino, that are the house signature, and the reason a Marco Bicego piece reads as warm and slightly matte rather than machine-bright. Both stones are cut with domed, faceted crowns that stand proud of their bezels.
