Art Deco style platinum ring, the cushion shaped plaque set with an oval Burmese ruby within a calibre cut ruby surround and interlaced diamond strapwork.
An oval ruby of strong pink red is rub over set at the centre and ringed by calibre cut rubies shaped to the oval. Over that runs a lattice of diamond set strapwork, the bands crossing and interlacing across the cushion plaque so the openwork throws a shadow pattern of its own. The shoulders are diamond set and taper into the shank.
