Art Deco platinum sapphire and diamond ring, a marquise sapphire in a diamond border flanked by triangular and trapeze calibré sapphires.
The design is pure geometry. The marquise sapphire runs north to south inside a millegrain border of diamonds, and on each side a triangle and a trapeze of calibré step cut sapphire fit together into a pointed wing, each edged with more diamonds. The platinum gallery beneath is pierced with scrolls and the head tapers into the shank in one continuous line.
