9KT gold amethyst and enamel cluster ring, a domed cabochon amethyst ringed by turquoise and white enamel petals, gold wirework and bead granulation.
The amethyst is cut as a high dome and inset at its crown with a small round faceted green stone in a white collet. Around it runs a twisted rope border, then a full circle of enamel petals, turquoise alternating with white, each outlined in gold wire and tipped with a single gold bead, and a second rope border at the rim. The goldwork follows the archaeological revival taste for wire and granulation. The head sits on split shoulders and a plain shank stamped 9CT.
