The focal point is an exquisitely crafted bow-shaped clasp in platinum, pavé-set with 42 round brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approximately 2.38 carats. The diamonds are of exceptional quality—G–H colour and VS1–VS2 clarity—reflecting the house’s dedication to brilliance and precision. The clasp is articulated and seamlessly integrated into the design, with clean side profiles and a uniform diamond layout, exemplifying Van Cleef & Arpels’ meticulous attention to detail.
Markings include “PLAT” and “VCA AY49648,” alongside a French eagle’s head hallmark, confirming the clasp's manufacture in 18K white gold with platinum and authenticating its French origin circa 1960s–1970s.
