An antique rectangular cufflink box finished in black grained leather with gilt line decoration to the lid and borders. The interior is lined in pale satin and velvet and fitted with two recessed slots designed to hold a pair of cufflinks securely. The inside lid is stamped E. B. Horn Co., 429 Washington St., Boston, identifying it as an original American jeweller’s presentation box. A good early 20th-century example, suitable for displaying or storing antique and vintage cufflinks, or as a period replacement box.
