Vintage Van Cleef & Arpels jewellery suite presentation box, the pale ivory moiré covered case opening to a grey velvet tray cut for a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of earrings.
The tray is moulded rather than merely padded, with a shaped collar recess for a necklace, a deep horseshoe well for a bracelet and two narrow slots for earring posts, so a complete suite sits in one case without touching. The lid is lined in pale grey satin and carries a small gilt emblem at its centre. A case of this format was made to hold a full parure and is the largest of the boxes in this group.
