The exterior is covered in black leather with a gilt decorative border and a small metal push-button fastening. The box opens to reveal a cream satin-lined lid and a fitted black velvet base.
The lower section incorporates a circular recessed compartment for the watch case, with a shaped extension above to accommodate the pendant, crown and bow. Its proportions suit an open-face or hunter-cased pocket watch.
The presentation box appears to date from the later mid-20th century, approximately the 1960s–1970s.

The retailer’s gilt inscription remains visible, although some lettering is faint.
