An original antique jewellery box by Hamilton & Inches, dating to the early 20th century. The box is finished in brown leather with gilt decorative tooling to the edges and a fitted hinged lid. The interior is lined with pale silk to the lid and a cushioned velvet base, suitable for presenting or storing fine jewellery. The Hamilton & Inches retailer’s mark is clearly stamped to the inside of the lid, confirming its Scottish origin.
