An elongated antique bracelet presentation box dating from the early 20th century, with a partially legible retailer’s mark that appears to read Miltons Ltd.

The fitted case has a blue leather exterior with gilt tooled borders and a pointed envelope-style flap secured by a press-stud fastening. It opens to reveal a cream satin-lined lid and a fitted pale velvet bracelet channel.

The long, narrow proportions were designed to hold a line bracelet, flexible bracelet, narrow wristwatch or similar Art Deco jewel. The interior accommodates an item measuring approximately 20cm long and up to 1.5cm wide.

Its elongated form, blue leather covering and restrained gilt detailing are characteristic of luxury jewellery presentation cases produced during the 1910s and 1920s.
