Bulgari 18KT gold and amethyst signet ring from the Bulgari Bulgari collection, a flat round amethyst set at the centre of a raised bezel engraved BVLGARI BVLGARI.
The design takes its border from the engraved rims of ancient Roman coins, the source of the double logo Bulgari first used on the Bulgari Bulgari watch in 1977 and then carried across its jewellery. The round bezel stands proud of a smooth, domed signet shank, with the amethyst disc polished flat and set flush inside the engraved ring of letters.
The shank is struck inside with the S.B maker's mark for Sotirio Bulgari, the 750 fineness mark for 18 carat gold and Italian assay marks.
