Art Deco Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Bracelet, Mauboussin Style
An exceptional Art Deco period bracelet crafted in solid platinum, set with natural sapphires and diamonds, and dating to the 1920s–1930s. The design is strongly associated with the work of Maison Mauboussin, featuring a refined geometric layout, stepped articulation, and a central oval sapphire panel flanked by meticulously graduated stones.
At the centre is a striking natural Ceylon sapphire, framed by rows of square-cut sapphires and rose- and old-cut diamonds, creating a balanced contrast of deep blue and bright white stones. The bracelet displays classic Art Deco symmetry, fine milgrain detailing, and elegant articulation, allowing it to sit beautifully on the wrist.
The bracelet is numbered and bears French control marks. While it is not signed by Mauboussin, the craftsmanship, design language, and construction are entirely consistent with high-end French Art Deco jewellery, and it is therefore described as in the style of Mauboussin.
