Imperial Russian 14KT gold bracelet set with cabochon sapphires in navette shaped links, struck with the kokoshnik assay mark and the 56 zolotnik standard.
The kokoshnik, the head of a woman in the traditional Russian headdress, was the assay mark used across the Empire from 1899 until the Revolution ended hallmarking in 1917. The 56 beside it is the zolotnik standard, equal to 14KT.
The links alternate pierced navette panels holding rub over set cabochon sapphires with plain bar spacers, closing with a concealed box clasp and a safety chain. A worn maker's mark is struck beside the assay mark on the clasp.
