Cartier LOVE charm pendant in 18KT rose gold, modelled as a miniature LOVE band with the screw motifs worked around the outside, on Cartier's signed trigger clasp.
Aldo Cipullo designed the LOVE bracelet for Cartier in New York in 1969: a rigid oval that closed on the wrist with a screwdriver and was meant to stay there, fastened by someone else. The screw heads spaced around the band became the signature of the whole LOVE line, and they are carried here onto a miniature of the ring.
The band is rose gold, warmer and pinker than the yellow Cartier uses on the Trinity, polished bright with the screw motifs recessed into the surface so they catch a shadow.
It hangs from Cartier's trigger clasp rather than a fixed bail, so it clips onto a chain or a charm bracelet directly. The clasp is signed Cartier over 750 for 18KT gold and carries the serial number.
