Three oval sapphires run in a vertical line up the plaque, the largest at the centre and one above and one below, each in its own milgrain collet. A short bar of calibre cut sapphires crosses the middle stone to make a cross, and diamonds fill the navette outline around them. Three matched stones in line is harder to assemble than a single centre, since the colour has to agree across all three.
