An oval sapphire is collet set at the centre of a circular plaque, and around it the field is divided into scalloped panels, each filled with calibre cut sapphires cut to the curve, with diamonds set into the lobes between them. There is more blue here than white, which is unusual in the group and gives the ring a much deeper colour overall.
