Art Deco style platinum ring, the octagonal plaque set with an oval sapphire within a calibre cut sapphire frame and a double diamond border.
The plaque is a true octagon with the corners cut square, the shape the period took from architecture. An oval sapphire is collet set at the centre, framed first by calibre cut sapphires cut to the octagon and then by two rows of diamonds stepped one above the other, so the design reads outward in rings from the centre stone. The shank is diamond set along the top.
