Art Deco style platinum ring, the hexagonal plaque set with an oval sapphire within a diamond star and a border of calibre cut sapphires.
The plaque is drawn as a hexagon with the points pulled out at each side. An oval sapphire sits at the centre in a milgrain collet, and from it a star of diamond set rays runs out to the rim. The outer border is laid with calibre cut sapphires cut to follow each straight edge, so the blue reads as a continuous line rather than a row of separate stones.
