An oval sapphire is collet set at the centre of a circular plaque, and around it calibre cut sapphires are shaped into petals that radiate outward, each cut to its own position in the circle. Diamonds fill between the petals and run round the rim in a continuous border, so the design reads as a flowerhead seen from directly above.
