Art Deco style platinum ring, the octagonal plaque set with an oval Burmese ruby within a calibre cut ruby frame and a double diamond border.
The plaque is a true octagon with the corners cut square. An oval ruby is collet set at the centre, framed first by calibre cut rubies shaped to the octagon and then by two rows of diamonds stepped one above the other, so the design reads outward in rings from the centre stone. The shank is diamond set along the top and plain beneath.
