An oval ruby is collet set at the centre inside a scalloped diamond surround, the diamonds set in scooped panels that catch light from the side. Around that a navette border of calibre cut rubies runs out to the two points, each stone shaped to its own position in the curve. The shank is diamond set along the top and plain beneath.
