Art Deco style platinum navette ring, the oval sapphire centre of 1.09 ct within a double border of calibre cut sapphire and diamond, on a domed plaque.
The plaque is domed rather than flat, so the setting rises off the finger and the borders curve away at the sides. An oval sapphire is collet set at the centre inside a ring of diamonds, and outside that a second border of calibre cut sapphires follows the navette outline to its points. The double frame is what gives the ring its depth.
