Vintage 1950s Blue Zircon and Diamond Ring, 18KT White Gold
Vintage circa 1950s blue zircon and diamond ring in 18KT white gold, a round natural zircon of approximately 1.80 to 2.00 carats held in a tall claw setting between pierced floral shoulders set with diamonds.
The zircon is a bright blue green, cut round to show the strong dispersion that makes zircon flash with colour like a diamond. It sits high in a claw setting, and each shoulder is pierced and carved as a heart shaped flower set with small diamonds, tapering into a plain shank stamped 18CT.
