The rectangular box has an engine-turned hinged cover with a vacant rectangular cartouche, polished sides and a black leather panel to the underside, and is retained in its original fitted Skinner & Co red leather presentation case. The box is engraved ‘Skinner & Co, By Appointment to the King & Queen, Orchard Street, London W’, recording the firm's Royal appointment.
